Method

Learning built around the language you already speak

Most courses teach every learner the same way. We start from the language you think in — its habits, its word order, its gaps — and show you exactly where English differs.

🎯

One objective per lesson

Each 3–7 minute lesson targets a single communicative outcome, like “order something politely” or “say where you're from”. You finish knowing one more thing you can actually do.

🧩

Native-language grammar contrasts

We name the specific habits that trip up speakers of your language — missing articles, a different verb position, an unnecessary “am”. Explained in your language, never as “your language is wrong”.

📚

Real texts, real vocabulary

History readings put new words in context you can remember. Tap a word for its meaning in your language and keep it for review.

🔁

Spaced review that respects you

Words come back just before you'd forget them. No energy system, no hearts, no shame — and a missed day never erases your progress.

📐

Grounded in CEFR

Our levels reference the Council of Europe's CEFR framework (A1–B1 to start), so your progress means something outside the app. We never claim official certification.

♿

Accessible and fast

Keyboard-friendly, screen-reader aware, reduced-motion and high-contrast friendly, and light enough for modest phones. We target WCAG 2.2 AA.

A lesson, step by step

  1. 1 · Warm-up

Recall one thing you learned recently — 20–40 seconds.

  2. 2 · One new idea

    A phrase, a structure, or a listening distinction, with a native-language note.

  3. 3 · Guided practice

Choose, arrange, complete or match — building confidence before output.

  4. 4 · Understand in context

Listen to or read a short, realistic exchange.

  5. 5 · Produce

Type or say a short response using the target pattern.

  6. 6 · Remember

A quick recap, and the item is queued for spaced review.

Honest by default

We won't promise fluency in 30 days

Language takes time. We promise a clear path, useful feedback, visible progress and a routine you can keep.

We label content that hasn't been human-reviewed

Every language pack shows its review status. Machine drafts are marked as drafts — they never silently appear as reviewed teaching.

We keep the core learning deterministic

Static, reviewed lessons work even when AI features are unavailable. AI, where used, is advisory and bounded — it never changes your progress or level on its own.

We protect your data

No account is needed to start. We collect only what improves your learning, and you can export or delete it at any time.
